The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Account Director to join the Client Service team. Reporting to the Group Account Director, you’ll have a natural flair for management and commercials, whilst developing a talented account management team. Building relationships should be second nature, ensuring that we maintain great relationships with existing clients and build strong relationships with new clients. 

As an Account Director you will be able to offer innovative marketing solutions to specific business challenges, ensuring that we deliver campaigns that perform, whilst remaining on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management and Development
    • Responsible for building and maintaining client relationships at a senior level, influencing their marketing strategy
    • Financial development – Achieving an agreed % of organic growth YoY for key clients
    • Efficiency Management – Ensuring projects are delivered as efficiently as possible
  • Team Management and Development
    • Team Management – Managing and motivating a team of direct reports
    • Team Development – Development of all members within your team using resources available to you and seeking out further opportunities to develop the team
  • Campaign Management
    • Team Management – Leading a team to deliver multiple campaigns to meet client objectives
    • Accountability and Reporting – Focusing on campaign performance to ensure best outcomes
    • Best Practice – Ensuring the team follow best practices and process set out by the business
  • Commercial Management
    • Key Client Planning – Developing plans for all key clients, including revenue forecasts and resource plans to enable you to deliver to growth
    • Monthly Commercial Reviews – Presenting to Group Account Director on a monthly basis on performance against plan for all key clients
    • Account Stability and Profitability – Ensuring that we are never behind the curve on your accounts, that they are stable and campaigns that we deliver are profitable

What you will bring

  • At least 5 years’ experience working for a B2B agency
  • Experience in delivering integrated campaigns based on business challenges
  • People management and development
  • A track record of establishing and growing accounts
  • The ability to forge and establish new client account relationships
  • Dynamic, outgoing personality with strong drive to deliver/succeed
  • Understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
