The role

We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic copywriter with B2B tech experience to join our fast-paced, client-focused agency as part of the content strategy team.

Content strategy is the heartbeat of the agency. We are responsible for ensuring every word that leaves Miramar is fit for purpose – whether it’s part of a whitepaper, a banner, or a social media campaign.

What we need from you

The successful candidate can expect to be:

  • Crafting engaging and persuasive copy to meet marketing objectives across a range of platforms, including digital, video, and print
  • Responding to briefs from the Client Services team and/or Senior Digital Strategist
  • Writing long-form content for B2B clients that informs and/or entertains (while displaying a clear grasp of often-technical topics)
  • Thinking strategically to make sure your output matches the objectives of the campaign or project
  • Managing the pressure of a fast-paced agency environment, featuring varied workload, tight deadlines whilst refusing to compromise on quality.
  • Proofreading your own work and others’ work to ensure that agency standards are maintained
  • Championing the voice of each brand (including our own) across all assets by keeping messaging consistent with existing tone of voice guidelines
  • Joining an enthusiastic, friendly and recently established team at Miramar, complete with the opportunity to really make your mark in the agency

Applicants will need to have…

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities
  • A strategic mindset with a keen understanding of the reaction the client is looking to elicit from the reader
  • The ability to see the bigger picture when creating content, including how your output aligns with wider marketing objectives, brand voice, and overall strategy
  • A knack for thinking creatively
  • The ability to work collaboratively with account managers and other creatives (including designers and other copywriters)
  • Proven experience writing about complex B2B subject matter and/or technical topics
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A eye for detail, including the ability to spot typos and grammattical errors from a mile away (Did you catch those two?)
  • A strong academic background including research and essay-writing skills

It would be nice if you had…

  • Experience in an agency environment
  • Confidence presenting work internally and to clients
  • Experience writing in the tech sector
  • Capability to create compelling short-form content, including social media posts
  • Experience creating copy for video (scripts, voice overs, etc.)
