Senior Account Manager


The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Account Manager to join the Client Service team. Reporting to an Account Director, you’ll have a natural flair for Account Management and delivering campaigns to solve business challenges. Building relationships should be second nature, ensuring that we maintain great relationships with existing clients and build strong relationships with new clients. 

As a Senior Account Manager you will be able to offer innovative marketing solutions to specific business challenges, ensuring that we deliver campaigns that perform, whilst remaining on time and on budget. 

Your mission will be to facilitate organic client growth, through strong stakeholder engagement and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management and Development
    • Responsible for building and maintaining client relationships
    • Working with your Account Director to influence Marketing Strategy at a senior level
    • Financial development – Achieving an agreed % of organic growth YoY for key clients
    • Efficiency Management – Ensuring projects are delivered as efficiently as possible
  • Team Management and Development
    • Team Management – Managing and motivating a team of direct reports
  • Campaign Management
    • Delivery – Working with members of your team to ensure all campaigns are delivered as efficiently as possible whilst generating great results
    • Optimisation – Focusing on campaign optimisation to ensure we generate the best results for our clients
    • Best Practice – Following best practices and process set out by the business
  • Commercial Management
    • Key Client Planning – Working with your Account Director to develop plans for all key clients
    • Account Stability and Profitability – Ensuring that we are never behind the curve on your accounts, that they are stable and campaigns that we deliver are profitable

What you will bring

  • At least 3 years’ experience working for a B2B agency
  • Experience in delivering integrated campaigns based on business challenges
  • People management and development
  • A track record of establishing and growing accounts
  • The ability to forge and establish new client account relationships
  • Dynamic, outgoing personality with strong drive to deliver/succeed
  • Understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
