The challenge

  • Veritas came to us looking to create a once in a lifetime incentive trip for the Softcat Account Managers
  • The aim was to increase sales of Veritas by making them an irresistible offer
  • They needed us to start from scratch: sourcing and booking a location for the trip as well as all activities
  • The incentive needed a campaign too - to ensure it stood out in front of the Account Managers

The solution

  • We had to make an impact, so we thought winter wonderland, unforgettable sights, great group activities. This led us to pick Vancouver and Whistler, Canada BC
  • Guests would enjoy the perfect combination of Christmas lights in the big city and spectacular sights in the snowy mountains
  • We organised every detail of the trip from flights through to meals and drinks
  • We produced fun and Canada-themed creative and messaging to stand out in the offices
  • A full comms campaign was planned and launched built awareness, momentum and excitement
  • We also designed and launched sales enablement tools including a dark data infographic to help inform the Account Managers about the Veritas offering
  • A leaderboard updated the sales floors each week about the incentive so they could track their progress

The result

  • Sales increased during the campaign with account managers more motivated to sell than ever
  • A healthy sense of competition was created on the sales floor and knowledge for the Veritas offering was increased
  • Veritas’ profile was raised in the Softcat office and they gained a reputation as a fun and rewarding vendor
  • Feedback was that the trip was awesome - everyone had a great time!
  • The trip provided a great chance for the Veritas and Softcat to strengthen their relationship
