The challenge

  • Hitachi High-Tech Analytical Science (HHA) became a standalone business within the Hitachi family 
  • HHA needed a new visual identity and messaging within 6 months
  • It needed to be rolled out across over 1000 assets across 4 different product groups, ranging from marketing materials, sales collateral and videos to a whole new website
  • Across 1000+ assets we needed to maintain consistency of message, minimise customer, distributor, employee confusion, and maintain business continuity

The solution

  • A series of workshops and meetings alongside corporate guidelines from HHA HQ to define the new look
  • From this insight our creative team put together a selection of concepts that were refined to form the new identity
  • A messaging framework took influence from the workshops and Hitachi personas
  • A tight project plan and quality control process was put in place to manage the 1000’s of assets with twice daily deadlines throughout the 6 month project

We devised a new professional and corporate brand identity that perfectly married the ethos, values and visions of the two companies.

  • Over 2000 website enquiries in 6 months, that’s a conversion rate of over 2%
