Softcat Partner Knowledge Sharing

In 2016, Softcat achieved Cisco’s EMEAR Partner of the Year award. To promote this, they came to us asking for a full campaign, culminating in a London based event.

The live stream audience smashed the target by 285%

The solution

Miramar produced a digital campaign to promote the event, with a range of emails and paid social media. We created internal signage, videos, merchandise, emails and a web page to encourage attendees and then arranged to have the event live streamed. This was the first event that Softcat had streamed and we had a target of approximately 100 viewers.

The result

The event was very successful, generating new leads from approximately 25% of the physical attendees. The live stream audience smashed the target by 285% and has had 350 subsequent views since uploading to YouTube. All surveyed attendees would attend another similar event – they liked the venue, the format and the atmosphere. The Softcat Marketing department stated that we delivered a ‘great end to end campaign and provided the opportunity to try new technologies with a fantastic end result.
