This year’s hot top topic GDPR, the new European wide data regulation comes in to play from May 2018. Softcat, as always, leading with their customers in mind, wanted to provide an unbiased, consultative online resource giving advice and considered insight into what the effect the new regulation will have.

The solution

Miramar created a campaign with simple communications at its heart. With all the noise and confusion surrounding GDPR, the communications and content had to be easy to consume.

The centre of the campaign was an interactive microsite that served as the GDPR hub, with staged information, advice and rich media resources that we had created. A downloadable eBook was created and later printed due to demand, along with OFT emails for the customer support teams.

The result

We knew that GDPR was a hot topic and the campaign results have reflected this. The microsite has had over 3,000 page views and an average dwell time of over 2 minutes. The video content has had over 1,000 views in the first month.
