Softcat New Website

In 2015, Softcat commissioned us to update their website. It had fallen behind their competitor’s websites and needed to provide a better UX for their customers. After a quick turnaround, Miramar launched V1 of the new website, using the trademark bright colours, a better navigation system and ‘fun’ stock imagery. But we didn’t stop there!

1,852,000 page views, over 797,500 sessions from 446,000 unique users

The solution

18 months on, we are optimising the functionality and integrating features to generate customer leads. We developed a brand new navigation system, providing a better user experience.

We also added parallax to the homepage, altered the layout of every page and introduced flat graphics and photography, in replacement of the stock imagery.

The result

1,852,000 page views, over 797,500 sessions from 446,000 unique users. That’s an average of 2.32 page views per 2 minute (average) session.

Most popular pages are from the Join us section and the About Softcat section. Traffic is still over 50% new visitors. But a clear trend for returning customers at over 45%.
