The challenge

  • Westcott Venture Park came to us in need of a full rebrand and website
  • The new brand needed to define the Park’s values and reflect its vision: to be recognised as a UK centre of excellence for global technology
  • They were unsatisfied with the current park name and were considering dropping “Venture”

The solution

  • We carried out multiple workshops to define the new brand, messaging and company name
  • The results allowed us to create a brand bible made up of the following items: brand overview, research summary, tagline and service proposition, vision, elevator pitch, narrative, personality and tone of voice
  • Following a combination of research, internal brainstorms and discussions with stakeholders, we produced ideas for a new park name from which Westcott made the final decision of “Westcott”
  • Brand guidelines and collateral were rolled out in the new brand
  • We also carried out a workshop to define all technical requirements for the new website

The result

  • The new brand and logo reflect Westcott’s values, aims and key personality traits (‘helpful’, ‘creative’, and ‘forward-thinking’)
  • The new website has seen a 32% increase in site users and 49% increase in page views
  • Positive feedback received from Park occupiers and the broader business community
