The Role

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated B2B marketing Account Manager to join the Client Service team. Reporting to an Account Director or Senior Account Manager, you’ll have a natural flair for engaging with key stakeholders to develop productive relationships whilst delivering amazing results-driven marketing programmes that solve business challenges. Building relationships should be second nature, ensuring that we maintain great relationships with existing clients and build strong relationships with new clients.

As an Account Manager, you will be able to understand your client’s pain points and objectives to become a key strategic partner. Developing your client knowledge to offer innovative marketing solutions to specific business objectives, ensuring that we deliver campaigns that perform, whilst remaining on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Management
    • Account Growth and Profitability – Ensuring that you are never out of the loop on your accounts, that they are stable and the campaigns that we deliver are successful for our clients and for us
  • Client Management and Development
    • Responsible for client success building and maintaining client relationships
    • Proactively identifying opportunities to add greater value to our clients and work with the wider agency team to deliver them
    • Financial Development – Achieving an agreed % of organic growth YoY for key clients
    • Efficiency Management – Ensuring projects are delivered as efficiently as possible
  • Team Management and Development
    • Team Management – Manage and motivate a team of direct reports
  • Campaign Management
    • Take responsibility for client marketing programmes from inception through to post reporting
    • Delivery – Working with members of your team to ensure all campaigns are delivered as efficiently as possible whilst generating great results
    • Optimisation – Focus on campaign optimisation to ensure we generate the best results for our clients
    • Best Practice – Follow best practices and processes set out by the business to ensure work is produced to the highest possible standard

What you will bring

  • At least 2 years’ experience working for a B2B agency
  • Experience in delivering integrated campaigns based on business challenges
  • A track record of establishing and growing accounts
  • The ability to forge strong relationships with clients and internally
  • Dynamic, outgoing personality with a strong drive to deliver/succeed
  • Passionate about B2B marketing and a thirst to develop your understanding and skills
  • Project management excellence – ownership, delegation and coordination
  • Inspire confidence both internally and externally that projects will be delivered to our high standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
